How Could Charles Be Coronated After His Divorce and Past Affair

Royal author Anthony Holden wrote King Charles: A Biography in 1988. He penned a letter to The Guardian arguing that Charles’ coronation should be invalid. He cites Charles’ divorce and well-known affair with Camilla during his marriage to Princess Diana.

Royal Author Questions How King Charles III Could Be Coronated After His Divorce and Past Affair

Holden wrote, “Further to your concerns about the forthcoming coronation, the Church of England has never before crowned a divorced man as king. Therefore its supreme governor, let alone one who has publicly confessed to adultery* – with the relevant woman, also a divorcee, sitting beside him expecting to be crowned queen consort.

He alleges that the late Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie, once told him that Charles’s coronation would require “a revision of the coronation oath, which would require a new statute of parliament.”

Therefore he claims that this statute would require the prime minister “to seek King Charles III’s permission to debate whether or not it felt able to crown him. Runcie told me it would amount to a constitutional crisis. It seems hard to disagree.”

*Adultery is a capital crime under The Law that the monarch swears before God to maintain to the utmost of their power (Exod. 20:14).

Our Creator, roughly 2600 years ago, via His Prophet Ezekiel:-

21:25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when inequity [shall have] an end,
21:26 Thus saith the Lord “I AM”; Remove the diadem (sovereignty), and take off the crown: this [shall] not [be] the same: exalt [him that is] low (Line of Zarah), and abase [him that is] high (Line of Pharez).
21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no [more], [overturned] UNTIL he come whose Right it is; and I will give it [him – Shiloh (Gen. 49:10)].May Father’s Will be done here on earth, as it is in heaven.

And His Christ (The One Whom God has Anointed to be our King) stated the following:-

Matthew 5:31-33
5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the “I AM” thine oaths:

How can a man who cannot even keep his marriage vow, and has committed the capital crime of adultery, somehow be trusted to keep his promise before God to “maintain The Laws of God to the utmost of his power”?

And why would God ever allow such a criminal to sit on the Throne (The Real Stone of DestinyJacob’s Pillar-Stone) that He has promised to give to His Christ?

It is said that people get the exact leader they deserve. Will you be led by a fraud who has committed capital crimes, including adultery? Or will you be led by a dauntless Christ (Rev. 21:9), who will invariably magnify and rule by The Law of God (Isa. 42:21; Rev. 2:27)?

May Father’s Will be done here on earth, as it is in heaven.
