Russia will sink Britain under a nuclear tidal wave and reduce the US to radioactive ash if NATO sends troops into Ukraine, says Dmitry Kiselyov.
Kiselyov, known for his role as a TV presenter and his leadership within Russia’s media landscape, emphasized the dire consequences of NATO intervention in Ukraine.

“If NATO countries send their troops into Ukraine in order to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, then the very moment about which Putin once said, ‘Why do we need the world, if there is no Russia in it?” would come.
Kiselyov said Putin would unleash his Satan-2 and other deadly nuclear missiles. Then everything [all types of missile] would be launched by us, in every direction – Sarmats [Satan-2s], Yars, and Avangards.
American decision-making centres, and launchers on land and at sea are already in their sights.
Kiselyov’s warning serves as a reminder of the high stakes involved in the conflict and the potential for escalation to a global catastrophe.
He’s not the only one warning of dire consequences.
Vladimir Solovyov recently has told Russia to ‘wipe out’ the UK in a TV rant taking aim at Grant Shapps and Rishi Sunak over their support for Ukraine. “Goodbye, Little Britain… You declared war on Russia? Take a beating,” he said.
Vladimir Putin recently declared his readiness to use nuclear weapons should the US deploy troops to Ukraine. In a tense interview with TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov for RIA Novosti last month, Putin ominously stated: “Weapons exist in order to use them.” He then confirmed that Russia is prepared from a military-technical standpoint and that its nuclear missiles are always combat-ready. Dmitry Kiselyov says his country’s Poseidon nuclear underwater drone could cause a tsunami that would “plunge the British Isles into the depths of the sea” and turn them into a “radioactive desert”. He described Ireland as “collateral damage” in a potential nuclear attack by Russia on the UK in any escalation of tensions between the countries over Russia’s war on Ukraine.

The Russian embassy in Dublin, in response to queries from The Irish Times on the latest programme on Russian state television, repeated the official position of the Russian Federation that “there can be no winners in a nuclear war and that it must never be unleashed”.

But most striking about the recent video was that the torpedo wasn’t shown exploding off Liverpool or Portsmouth on the British mainland. The detonation happened several hundred miles to the west of the British mainland, in the North Atlantic off the coast of Northern Ireland. The thermonuclear tsunami then swept Northern Ireland and then on to mainland Britain.
The problem is that Ireland is an island cloven in two. There is Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, a NATO member that was a staunch opponent of the Soviet Union during the Cold War, and now is supplying weapons to Ukraine against the Russian invasion.
